Is the ski pass personal? Do I need a photo?
For 1- to 2-day passes, a photo is generally not required and they are not strictly personal. However, for 3-day or more passes (or season passes), the resort may require a photo and your personal information. In this case, the photo must be taken directly at the ticket office upon collection. The pass is always personal and non-transferable once issued.
Insurance and Coverage Sierra Nevada
Is accident insurance mandatory? What does it cover?
Is accident insurance mandatory? What does it cover?
Accident insurance is not mandatory, but CaranvaSports strongly recommends it . The standard ski pass does not cover medical expenses in the event of an accident on the slopes. Optional insurance typically covers rescue on the slopes, initial medical assistance at the resort clinic, and, in many cases, hospital transfer. We recommend adding it during the purchase process for complete peace of mind.

Can I change the dates of my ski pass once I've purchased it?
Can I change the dates of my ski pass once I've purchased it?
We understand that plans can change. We generally allow date changes free of charge as long as they are requested at least 48-72 hours before the first day of skiing. Please note that if the price of the ski pass for the new dates is higher, you will be required to pay the difference. Check the specific conditions of your rate at the time of purchase.
What happens if the resort closes due to lack of snow?
What happens if the resort closes due to lack of snow?
Your peace of mind is our priority. If the ski resort announces a complete closure of its facilities due to lack of snow during the validity periods of your ski pass, we will offer you several alternatives, such as changing the dates to later in the season or a voucher for the amount paid to use on future purchases at CaranvaSports.
Ski pass rates and ages Sierra Nevada
Do young children pay for a ski pass? From what age?
Do young children pay for a ski pass? From what age?
Age policies vary slightly between resorts. As a general rule, children under 5 or 6 years old usually have free access to the slopes, although they require a "baby" or "child" pass (costing €0), which can also be collected at the ticket office upon presentation of proof of age. After that age, the "child" or "junior" rates apply until children are 12 or 16, depending on the resort. We always specify the age ranges in the purchase selector.
